Business Challenge
Berndorf Band received a negative audit report that revealed significant security gaps. The areas particularly affected were device management, Active Directory (AD) security, network segmentation and the server/client infrastructure.
Solution
A comprehensive IT transformation with Microsoft Intune Device Management: modern device management that enables seamless management and protection of all end devices, regardless of their location. Active Directory hardening: The security policies for the Active Directory were revised and hardened. This included the implementation of multi-factor authentication (MFA), regular security checks and the minimization of administrator rights. Windows 11 client rollout: A comprehensive rollout of Windows 11 clients was carried out. This not only brought an improved user experience, but also enhanced security features and better integration with the new management tools. Azure Landing Zone: The company implemented an Azure Landing Zone to create a scalable and secure cloud environment. This enabled centralized management and monitoring of all cloud resources.
